A Suffolk Punch foal called Bazoo Ufford has been born, the third for mum Blush. Mother and foal will be off-show until mid-July. |

Four male Meerkats, called John, Paul, George and Ringo, have arrived from London Zoo. |

A four-year-old Lar Gibbon called Topoff has arrived from Thrigby Hall, to join the existing young female Jara and hopefully make a new breeding pair. |

A two-year-old male Rothschild Giraffe called Century has arrived from Longleat Safari Park. It is hoped that he will be joined by a female to form a new breeding pair for the European Breeding Programme for this, the second most endangered of Giraffe sub-species. |

A baby Collared Lemur and baby Ring-tailed Lemur have been born. |

A pair of Fennec Foxes have arrived. The male, Ascarii, came from the Czech Republic and the female, Mali, came from Augsburg Zoo in Germany. They will remain off-show for the next few months while they undergo their quarantine period. |

Four baby Meerkats have been born, to parents Kalahari and Timon. Some baby Skunks have also been born, to parents Fifi and Takoda. |

Spring births include: 4 Przewalski foals, 4 Markhor lambs, 1 Urial lamb, and a second Mishmi Takin calf. The Red Deer herd has also started to calf. |

A young pair of rare Poitou Donkeys called Tizer and Tarka have arrived . This species is unusually large - they grow to the size of Shire Horses - and hairy, and there are only about 600-800 left in the world. |
