Birth: June 2008
Four baby Meerkats have been born, to parents Kalahari and Timon.
Some baby Skunks have also been born, to parents Fifi and Takoda.
Arrival: May 2008
Two African Long-eared Hedgehogs (Penny and Percy), and an albino African Pygmy Hedgehog (Alfie) have arrived.
Birth: April 2008
Triplet baby Geoffroy's Marmosets have been born.
Birth: February 2008
Six baby Egyptian Fruit Bats have been born.
Birth: June 2007
Five baby Marbled Polecats have been born, to parents Yuri and Petra. Unfortunately, first-time mum Petra suddenly stopped producing milk and three sadly died before this was noticed. The remaining two were then successfully hand-reared by their keeper. The male, Omari, has since moved to another zoo to take part in the breeding programme, while the female, Layla, remains at Tropical Wings, awaiting a mate.
