Description

Tropical Wings Zoo prides itself on its reputation for providing all weather fun for the whole family. Throughout the day we provide entertaining talks, animal feeds, fun activities and with great competitions to enter there's something for everyone!

Featuring one of the finest Tropical Houses in the UK and home to an array of exotic butterflies the Zoo offers an interesting and ever growing collection of animals ranging from tiny Poison Dart Frogs and creepy crawlies through to Lemurs, Wallabies, Meerkats and Giant Sulcata Tortoises. The large collection of tropical birds are a wonder for first encounters and enthusiasts alike. The birds of prey are always impressive and can be seen most days during Wild Wings Show. For those who like to get a little closer to the animals and interact with them, why not try feeding the enormous koi carp or getting involved in the Wallaby feed.

Whether it's a light bite, ice cream or a sit down meal you are looking for, Macawbers Café can accommodate all your needs (no admission to the Zoo is required to visit the Café). Of course you may feel like bringing a picnic and when the weather is warmer we have plenty of outside areas for you to use.

Sit back and enjoy a coffee whilst watching the kids play in Macawbers Fun House, the Jungle Tots and Jungle Juniors themed areas are a resounding success with young visitors so why not try them out today!!

Perhaps you may like to treat someone special with a personal Close Encounter or an Adult or Junior Zoo Keeper experience day. Looking for a gift with a difference? Then why not adopt one of their animals or birds. Staff at reception will be happy to provide full details on all the packages we have on offer.

If you're looking for something interesting, fun and different to do, make a visit to Tropical Wings Zoo.
