A baby rare Welsh Mountain Goat called Scooby has been born. He is being hand-reared after rejection by his mother Stumpy.

A baby male Bactrian Camel called Grand Slam (Slammy for short) has been born, the second for parents Lock and Flanka.
Arrival: July 2007
Two female European Brown Bears have arrived from Greece to join the existing female Yoghi. The new arrivals are 3-year-old sisters, called Athina and Fivi.

Three Great Grey Owl chicks, called Graffite, Slate and Glacier, have been born.

Four baby Polecats have been born.
Arrival: April 2007
Chico the Macaw and Johnny Rock the Caracara have arrived to join the flying display.
