Description
The Yorkshire Dales Falconry and Conservation Centre is located on the A65, 3 miles from Settle, on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
Over 40 birds are on display, and there are daily flying displays, with eagles, vultures, owls, hawks, and falcons, including the only free-flying Lappet Faced Vulture in the country.
Day and half-day handling and flying courses also available, on a pre-bookable, extra charge basis.

Special Attractions
Daily flying displays: 12:00, 2:00, 3:30 in summer, 12:00, 1:30 in winter.
In bad weather, the indoor lecture theatre is used for flying.
How To Get There:
By Car
From Skipton:
Follow the A65 north-west towards Settle. Continue on A65 past Settle towards Kirkby Lonsdale. Continue past Giggleswick railway station. After about 3 miles, look out for turning for B6480 (Settle) on the right. The Yorkshire Dales Falconry Centre is then on the left about 0.5 miles further along the A65.
From Preston & M6 J31:
Follow the A59 north east towards Clitheroe and Skipton. Continue past Clitheroe to (staggered) junction with A682. Turn left onto A682 towards Settle. Join the A65 from Skipton, and contniue past Settle to the Yorkshire Dales Falconry Centre, as described above.
From Burnley & M65:
Take M65 north to junction 13. Turn onto A682 towards Settle. Continue on A682 across staggered junction with A59. Join A65 from Skipton, and contniue past Settle to the Yorkshire Dales Falconry Centre, as described above.
From M6 J36:
Follow the A65 south east through Kirkby Lonsdale and Ingleton towards Settle. Continue past both turnings onto B6480 to Clapham, and the Yorkshire Dales Falconry Centre will be on the right, about 2 miles after the second turning.
