Description
Norwood Farm is a working organic farm. It is also a Rare Breeds Survival Trust Approved Centre with over 30 rare British animal breeds, including Red Poll cattle, Exmoor Ponies, Gloucester Old Spot pigs, and Soay and Wiltshire Horn Sheep. There are often many new arrivals to see, with lambing in spring and early summer, calving later on, and piglets, foals and baby goats throughout the season.
The Farm also has a demonstration Wind Turbine, which provides the electricity to run the fridges and freezers in the café and shop, and a recycling area.

How To Get There:
By Car
Norwood Farm is located on the B3110 just north of the village of Norton St. Philip, and only 6 miles south of Bath.
From Bath:
Follow the A367 or A3062 south out of the centre of Bath, towards Radstock. If following the A367, turn left onto the B3110 Midford Road just after the end of the dual carriageway, then continue past the St Martins Hospital and across the A3062 at the double mini roundabout. If following the A3062, turn left onto the B3110 Midford Road at the double mini roundabout near the St. Martins Hospital. In both cases, continue along the B3110 through the villages of Midford and Hinton Charterhouse, and on towards Norton St Philip. The entrance to the Farm will then be on your left just over 1 mile after leaving Hinton Charterhouse, and just before the edge of Norton St Philip.
From Bristol:
Either take the A4 to and into Bath, then take the A367 south towards Radstock, and continue to the Farm as described above (from Bath).
Or follow the A37 south towards Shepton Mallet, then turn left onto the A362 and follow it through Midsomer Norton and Radstock. Continue out of Radstock on the A362 towards Frome, then turn left onto the A366 towards Trowbridge about 2 miles from the A367 crossroads in Radstock. Continue on the A366 through the village of Faulkland and on into Norton St Philip. In the centre of the village, turn left onto the B3110 towards Bath. The entrance to the Farm will then be on your right, just after leaving the village.
From Shepton Mallet:
Follow the A37 then A367 north-east to and into Radstock. Continue through Radstock town centre, then turn right onto the A362 towards From, and continue to the Farm as described above (from Bristol).
From Frome:
Follow the A361 north towardsTrowbridge, to its junction with the A36. Continue forwards through the roundabout onto the A36 towards Bath. Continue over the next roundabout onto the A36, and on through the village of Woolverton. At the far end of this village, fork left onto the B3110 towards Norton St Philip. Continue through Norton St Philip on the B3110 High Street, across the A366 and on towards Bath. The entrance to the Farm will then be on your right, just after leaving the village.
From Warminster:
Follow the A36 north-west towards Bath, past the village of Beckington and through the village of Woolverton. Fork left onto the B3110 on the far side of Woolverton, and continue to the Farm as described above (from Frome).
From Trowbridge:
Follow the A366 west towards Radstock, across the A36 and on into Norton St Philip. Turn right in the village centre onto the B3110 towards Bath. The entrance to the Farm will then be on your right, just after leaving the village.
By Public Transport
By Bus:
Take the 267 (hourly) from Bath or Frome and ask for the Norwood stop.
