Description

Falconry Scotland provides birds of prey displays, demonstrations, and handling sessions, at no additional cost, within the Jedforest Deer and Farm Park. The flying displays take place around lunchtime, and the handling sessions around mid-afternoon. The birds available for display include a variety of Falcons, Hawks, Owls, and Eagles.

How To Get There:

By Car

From Edinburgh:

Follow the A68 south-east through Lauder, Earlston, and on to and through Jedburgh. Continue on A68 for about a further 6 miles, then turn right onto unclassified road, signposted for Mervinslaw and Falside. The Jedforest Deer and Farm Park will then be on the right after about 0.5 mile.

From Carlisle:

Follow the A7 north through Langholm to Hawick. Follow signs through the town to join the A698 towards Jedburgh, Kelso, and Berwick-upon-Tweed. Follow the A698 north-east for about 11 miles, to its junction with the A68. Turn right onto the A68 and continue through Jedburgh, and on to the Park as described above (from Edinburgh).

From Newcastle upon Tyne:

Follow A696, and then A68 north-west towards Jedburgh and Edinburgh. Shortly after passing through Camptown village, turn left onto unclassified road, signposted for Mervinslaw and Falside. The Jedforest Deer and Farm Park will then be on the right after about 0.5 mile.
