Description
Drusillas is a small zoo set amidst the stunning scenery of the Cuckmere Valley at Alfriston in East Sussex. Drusillas has been voted the South East of England's number one attraction and is widely regarded as the best small zoo in the country. They have created both an animal and child-friendly environment where the accent is on interactive involvement, conservation and fun-finding-out.
With naturalistic animal enclosures, innovative design and low level viewing Drusillas enables children to get nose to nose with nature by meeting the animals face to face!
The Park also has extensive play facilities, both indoor and outdoor, for children of all ages.

How To Get There:
By Car
Drusillas is situated just off the A27 between Eastbourne and Lewes, near the village of Alfriston. Follow the signs to Alfriston from the A27.
From Eastbourne:
Take the A2270 North out of Eastbourne, to Polegate. Turn left onto the A27 towards Lewes. After about 3-4 miles, turn left at the roundabout onto the Alfriston Road, towards Alfriston village. Drusillas Park will then be a short distance on the left.
From Brighton:
Take the A27 East to, and past Lewes. Continue on the A27 towards Eastbourne, and after about 6-7 miles turn right at the roundabout onto Alfriston Road, towards Alfriston village. Drusillas Park will then be a short distance on the left.
From London and M25:
From Junction 6 of the M25 (Godstone / Caterham) take the A22 South through East Grinstead and on past Uckfield. Continue on the A22 towards Eastbourne, past Hailsham, to the junction with the A27 at Polegate. Turn right (actually straight-on) onto the A27 towards Lewes and Brighton. The A27 turns hard right after crossing the railway, at the junction with the A2270. Continue on the A27 towards Lewes, and after about 3-4 miles, turn left at the roundabout onto the Alfriston Road, towards Alfriston village. Drusillas Park will then be a short distance on the left.
From Newhaven:
Either take the A26 North, to join the A27 near Lewes, and then follow the directions above (from Brighton).
Or, take the A259 East towards Eastbourne, and into Seaford. Shortly after passing the Leisure Centre on your left, turn left onto Alfriston Road. Follow this road North and East out of Seaford to and through the village of Alfriston. Continue North out of Alfriston, and Drusillas Park will be on your right after about 1-2 miles, shortly before the junction with the A27.
